Ist zwar bei uns in Europa out, über Neokonservative zu sprechen (man empört sich gerade über Aktion Teaparty), aber ich hab erst jetzt serendipitöslich diese Kolumne gelesen: Taki nennt im Spectator vom 5. März 2005 Neokonservative »sofa samurais« (»talk big but demand that others do the fighting for them«). Lustig! Und schön, sich bei der Lebenserfahrung zu beobachten: Da verfolgt man Medienberichte über eine Gruppe von Politikern, die einen Krieg anfangen und, hard to believe guys like Naomi Wolf, the United States bring to the brink of fascism, - then comes the famous pendulum swing - the U.S. "heal himself", and the commute is a liberal President, a black man named Obama, and he swings to the edge Communism (hard to believe the Teapartyisten) - - and long forgotten are the old neo-cons ("Falcon"). These can be discovered then a contemptuous epithet we might have missed during their flower power somehow aufzuschnappen - "sofa samurais" - - and, finally, one has a word for the label that is glued to his drawer and restless in History Blank unit had considered and provisionally titled (in pencil!)
